A strong introduction is like a good first impression. It either pulls readers in or pushes them away. Just like a bad pickup line, a weak intro sends people straight for the exit – or back to the search results.
For clients, I focus on intros that cut straight to the value. I skip the fluff, opting for a bold statement, a thought-provoking question, or an immediate nod to a problem their audience faces. The goal? Make it clear from the start that this content is worth their time.
When you’re writing intros, ask yourself: “Does this capture attention right away?” If it’s buried under generic phrasing, trim it down. Leading with a hook or an insight can improve engagement and keep readers moving through to the final CTA.
